Highlight your community this season in this campaign with Shaw TV. Promote your local activities, businesses and events, or simply showcase what it is that makes your community a tourist attraction. Past advertisers include Tourism Richmond, Vancouver's North Shore, Tourism Surrey and others.
Each participating community will receive a four week campaign which includes the following:
- production of 4 x 3-minute segments
- minimum of 10 airings of 1 x 3-minute segment per week on Shaw TV (40 total airings)
- production of 1 x 30-second promo spot
- minimum of 952 total airings of the 1 x 30-second promo spot that will run on 17 Shaw on Shaw US Cable specialty channels (ie. A&E, CNN, Fox News, TLC, etc.)
Reach: All components will air in the Vancouver, Chilliwack, Victoria and Nanaimo markets
Timing: February, March, April 2012
Rate: $6,595 + hst

Program Details:
- 4 x 3-minute segments will highlight a specific tourism community, featuring interviews from tourism directors, business owners, visitors, etc.
- 1 x 30-second promo spots will promote watchers to 'tune in' to the branded segments
- All segments can be used on the website of the featured community or region
- Each partner will be give 5 DVD copies of the segments
Production Details:
- Segments will be wrapped around a 15 second intro and 15 second extro for Vancouver, Coast & Mountains
- All production is included: b-roll and supplied footage will be edited with a voice over, interviews and other required production to create each piece
